1st Birthday Cake Smash Photos…
This was such a fun 1st birthday cake smash! This was our 4th session with Erika – and she just continues to get cuter each time! (you can check out Erika’s Sitter Session here) I love seeing baby planner’s every few months and documenting their growth! When the year is over its bittersweet since I won’t be seeing them as often anymore.
Coming up with a cake smash set is so much fun! Hours go into designing, purchasing props, and finally assembling these fun sets. Mom wanted something floral and pink but was pretty easy going about the theme. I love it when I get to be creative! It’s so much fun to create these sets and then see it come to life when the baby is placed in the set!
Erika had a tough time – going from laughing to crying so quickly! We managed to get so many cute photos for mom and dad! She didn’t seem impressed with the cake at all and we never got her back to smiling! But like the song says – It’s her party and she’ll cry if she wants to…
