Newborn Mini Session

I love referrals they are the best compliment anyone can give!  Baby Bridgette was referred by her Aunt.  I did little Frankie’s Newborn Photos a few weeks ago!   I think these little cousins are going to be best friends and I’m sure people will mistake them for twins since they look very similar!  Mission Viejo Wrapped Newborn Session

I love doing wrapped mini sessions, they still capture the essence of that tiny newborn.  If you only need a few photos this is the best way to go.  I always try for a naked pose too, but if we don’t get it, it’s ok because you still have beautiful images.  Bridgette’s mommies one request was that her session has a different feel than her cousins.  We did that by using a completely different color pallet.  She chose purple tones, white and cream.  I love when I get to use colors I don’t use often and try new things!  I really think her session turned out beautiful and definitely different than her cousins!

This little gal was super alert and wanted to just stare at me!  Parents often ask why do I need them to be sleeping.  The main reason is that they are able to be posed and stay in the pose which is safer for baby.  If I let go of an awake baby the movement could easily cause them to roll off of the supports I use under the blankets to pose them.  Awake babies are so cute though, I totally get it!!  We did manage to get a few away and some sleepy shots as well.
