Aliso Beach Maternity Session

Every time someone asks for a beach session I just cringe.  There are so many reasons this beach girl just doesn’t like to shoot at the beach.  The wind always blowing the wrong direction, all the people I need to edit out, the harsh light, the tide, and those darn rocks under the sand that cut my feet every time.  BUT, when I get down there and my whole body relaxes as I get out of the car and smell the sea air.  There is something so special about the beach its where I grew up, it’s like an old comfortable friend.  Then I come home and think why do I hate shooting at the beach so much?!

I LOVE this Session we did at Aliso Beach!  There were so many obstacles as usual at the beach but I love the outcome so much! We arrived at the beach to find the rock area that I normally shoot at is closed!  Quick thinking and a couple direction changes and we were able to make it look like we were on those rocks in a few shots!

Such a cute couple awaiting their first little girl in a few weeks.  Mom was beautiful in both dresses she chose.  I love this white dress from Sew Trendy no one has chosen this dress until now and I think it might become a studio favorite!  And the sunset shots near the water are my favorite!  Enjoy this little peek at their session!
