Baby Grace | Orange County Newborn Maternity and Children’s Photographer
I started Newborn Photography a little over 3 years ago, with 4 models, 2 boys, and 2 girls. One of those little boys Jack my second ever newborn has a new little sister! It was a privilege to photograph Baby Grace recently! Boy have I grown in my craft over the last 3 years! When I started my business I was a Family and High School Senior Photographer before I decided to try Newborns. I had heard Newborns were the hardest so of course, I had to see for myself and never looked back! I LOVE Newborns and Children’s photography! This is where I am supposed to be and was always meant to be I think.
Baby Grace took a bit longer than her mommy and daddy had planned for a second baby, little did they know they were just waiting for her! God’s timing is always perfect even though it can be hard sometimes.
I thought it would be fun and a little humbling to do a then and now with these babies! Rule 1 in Newborn Photography is “don’t shoot up the nose” I guess I hadn’t heard that when I did Jacks session, oops! How much have I grown as a photographer? Always growing – Always learning…

It is so sweet to look back, especially with families who’ve been loyal newbie returners. What I’ve learned about my most beloved families, is that those beginning newborn sessions are just as precious to them because of the experience you gave them. (Even if we didn’t know every rule back then.) Beautiful, beautiful work!
