Choosing the Right Photographer for You…

Choosing a Newborn Photographer in Orange County can be a bit daunting! There are SO many of us with different options and prices. Where to even begin?! One thing I will beg you not to do is chose based solely on price! Newborn Photography is not like buying a car or furniture. This is your baby and these are your forever memories! These are a few quick tips!

Chose someone you feel comfortable handling your most precious possession for several hours! I let all my clients know they are welcome to come in and meet me and check out the studio. I also use this time to listen to what their vision is and usually they will point out a few props or colors and I have a good idea of the direction to go with the session.
Make sure whoever you choose is trained in Newborn Safety and keeping current on safety guidelines. I am a Certified Newborn Photographer with the APNPI (Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International) and have passed their Safety Certification.

Meet Baby Marks!

Oh, the Places He’ll go… This sweet boy came into the world a few weeks early on August 25th, his due date is this Saturday, September 15th! He was a tiny little guy weighing 6 pounds 2 ounce and 19.5 inches long. He is the sweetest calmest baby – and look at that face! I think he gets his laid back personality from his mommy and daddy! They were so sweet and so relaxed through the whole shoot, which I’m sure helped little Hudson stay calm.

And can we talk about his hair! I LOVE how his hair sticks up it was the cutest thing! And the outfits from Mia Joy – they are the best! I had just received the two outfits he’s wearing a couple days before his shoot and was so excited to use them! Mia Joy is one of my favorite prop vendors her outfits are gorgeous!

Hudson has mastered the Blue Steel look from Zoolander! A few times I waited for normal sleepy face and he laid there asleep but making SO many faces! He went through every emotion on his sweet face! And I loved when he decided he needed a double chin and there was nothing I could do to eliminate that! Every trick I had was defied and it cracks me up to see that tiny guy with a big ole double chin! I have a feeling Hudson is going to keep them laughing!
