Sunset Maternity Session Aliso Creek Beach
I love the beach so much, it’s my happy place! It’s where my head is cleared with the sound of the waves and the ocean breeze on my face. When I do a beach session I always show up early and sit and watch the waves and watch the birds. I’ve been going to Aliso Beach for so many years – did you know there was a pier at one time? Aliso Creek is known for its shore break, skimboarders, and crazy waves. Those crazy waves are what took out the pier during some storms in the 80’s. For a while, they left a small piece with a snack shop but that’s a distant memory now too! Aliso Beach is a great beach to watch the waves and relax – so many memories here…
Making new memories with new people at this beach is so fun! I’m glad I get clients that trust me and can go with the flow of what’s happening around us! It was a crazy session with big waves after the storm, more photographers than space to shoot and photobombing seagulls! LOL!! A few big waves were caught in the photos and I’ll have to leave a few of those darn birds in their images so they have those memories too.
Diana was such a trooper and did awesome! Believe it or not, she is 1 week from her due date in these images – she looks amazing! She chose dresses that were so flattering on her and so different from each other. I love that she has 3 distinct looks in her session. These two were so cute together, I know its always awkward posing but they rocked it and I love how their images turned out! I can’t wait to see them in a week or two and meet their new little lady! She’s a lucky baby with these parents!
