Wrapped Babies are Happy Babies!
Babies love to be swaddled that’s why our Wrapped Newborn Sessions are so great! These sessions are a quick affordable way to get a few images of your precious new baby. There are a few different wrap techniques that are used for variety, as well as some props and a fabric background. We do our best to plan your session according to your colors in your home and incorporate a prop or pose you find in my portfolio. The longest part of a regular newborn session is usually getting baby to sleep. Swaddling helps them not only fall asleep but calms an awake fussy baby. This helps the session run smoothly and quickly. This is usually how we achieve those wide awake shots like the photo above.

This little lady did so amazing at her session! She let me try a new tool I have for achieving the “Potato Sack” pose. This is the pose where the baby is upright and wrapped. It worked perfectly even with this little gal being on the older side at 3 weeks! She rocked 4 props, 2 beanbag wraps, and a fur! That was a lot for a mini session but why stop when you have a beautiful sleepy baby!
